More than 20 years extensive hands-on marine service in offshore oil and gas industry, he was also served as the chartering manager in the earlier years in offshore supply vessel services in CNOOC. Before take in charge of various LNG shipping projects, he was the Director and General Manager of Eastern Marine Service Co. Ltd which is the JV between China Oilfield Service Ltd and Trico Marine Service Ltd. He was also titled as the Deputy General Manager of Marine & Transportation Division of China Oilfield Service Ltd from 2005 - 2008.
