Experts: Mr. Nurlan Akkoshkarov
Nurlan Akkoshkarov is a Kazakhstani career diplomat and international relations specialist, currently serving as Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Shanghai, China.
He has extensive experience in Kazakhstan–China relations and regional diplomacy. His previous roles include serving as Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the SCO Secretariat, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and Director of the SCO’s Department of Administrative and Legal Affairs. He also worked as a Counselor at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China.
A graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Mr. Akkoshkarov is a professional Sinologist and international affairs expert with deep knowledge of China and multilateral cooperation.
