A single floater specialist has submitted a commercial offer in a Petrobras tender for the charter of a mid-sized floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel to revitalise operations at the Barracuda-Caratinga field in Brazil’s prolific Campos basin.
According to three well-informed industry sources, Shapoorji Pallonji Energy was the only company that came forward with a proposal for the Barracuda-Caratinga FPSO, marking the first time the Indian player participated in a Petrobras bidding competition.
