Shallow-water drilling contractor Borr Drilling has secured new contracts for three of its premium jack-up rigs in Vietnam and West Africa.
The company on Tuesday unveiled new contract commitments for its jack-ups Thor, Gerd and Norve, with the deals having an expected combined duration of 774 days and estimated revenues of approximately $120 million, excluding mobilisation and demobilisation fees.
“In Southeast Asia, the Thor has received a binding Letter of Award (LoA) from Vietsovpetro in Vietnam. The award covers a firm scope of three wells, with an anticipated duration of 75 days, and is expected to commence in April 2025,” the company said.
