Malaysia’s national E&P company Petronas Carigali has launched a key tender to support its future drilling operations offshore Indonesia, one of its key areas of current focus in Southeast Asia alongside Peninsular Malaysia.
The provision of mud logging equipment and services to support drilling campaigns in the operator’s Ketapang, North Madura II and North Ketapang offshore blocks (working areas).
According to the prequalification notice, Petronas Carigali plans to drill 12 firm wells and three optional wells on its Indonesian acreage over the four-year contract term. The workscope calls for a minimum local content (TKDN) of 70%.
