Aramco, the world’s largest oil exporter, has awarded a prized contract to a leading Middle East-based player for additional offshore infrastructure at its Marjan oil and gas field.
The offshore capacity maintenance project is a part of Aramco’s prized long term agreement (LTA) framework, which has consistently offered substantial workflow to international contractors in the past decade.
Aramco’s LTA projects were moving at a relatively slower pace earlier this year, but the Saudi state giant aims to finalise billions of dollars’ worth of projects in the coming weeks, ensuring that it maintains its spending on strategic maintenance projects.
